First Swahili Translation of OpenOffice.org 2.0 generated

Area where Swahili is spoken

I have generated a first Swahili translation of OpenOffice.org 2.0 based on the work done with OpenOffice 1.1.3 The Issue 52646 is the request for including the Swahili GSI/SDF file in OO.o 680/m121.

2005-07-30: The GSI/SDF file is the result of the migration of the old Swahili translation (1.1.3). Details of the migration process are available here

2005-08-09: A new issue has been filed Issue 53147 to include Swahili in the MS Installer. I have assigned Language ID 1089 for Swahili. Microsoft has only one single locale for Swahili (Swahili_Kenya sw_KE) See this for more info.

2005-08-10: A new issue has been filed Issue 53152 includes Swahili in solenv_inc postset.mk. This patch is the last one that needs to be included in OOo 2.0 to include Swahili.

2005-08-19: A new issue has been filed Issue 53546 includes myspell Swahili dictionary.
